Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Do you have a store?  Kinda. We rent space 333 at BAM in Chicago. BAM is a co-op located at 6130 N. Broadway. BAM is huge and fun to shop. Look for our vintage Monopoly or Candyland price tags or just ask for Blonde Vintage.

  2. Do you have Layaway?  Sorry, not at this time.

  3. Will you ship internationally?  Sorry, not at this time.

  4. Do you hold merchandise?  No

  5. Can I return an item? We do our best to describe the condition of the item.  Remember when you are buying vintage there is not such a thing as perfect. All items are sold in an as is condition. Measurements are listed on all items- please allow room for your body. We allow returns on all items over $150.00.  However, we do charge a 25% restocking fee and cannot refund shipping. In order to return and items, you must notify us with 48hrs of receiving the item. Please note we cannot guarantee delivery times. The item must be returned in the same unworn condition it was sent in. The item must be received within three business of your email requesting a return. We highly recommend you next day the item.

  6. How do you measure an item?

    • We will list the vintage size if it is on the label. Please remember in some cases the difference can be up to three sizes smaller. (Vintage 14 can equal modern day 10)  If we can, we will try to give you a modern day size—but use only as a guide. Use our measurements to ensure items will fit you.  We measure all our merchandise buttoned/zipped and laying flat.

    • Bust is measured armpit to armpit. You must double the measurement given to get the true circumference

    • Waist and Hips measured side seam to side seam. You must double to get the true circumference

    • Length is measured from the back of the neck to the bottom of the garment.

  7. How do you code the condition of your items?

    • Mint- No visible imperfections

    • Excellent- One or 2 barely there imperfections

    • Very Good- Few minor imperfections

    • Good- Shows some wear, but still has a ton of life left in it.

  8. How often do you add merchandise and can you email when you do? We add new items all the time. Due to our “day jobs”, we cannot commit to a schedule.  Please check back with us frequently. We are insane shoppers and try to spend a day a week finding new items. It is an illness---we know…

  9. When do you ship purchases?  We ship once a week. Sometimes we ship additional days but that depends on our work schedule.

  10. How much is shipping and handling? Shipping on purchases is free.

  11. Do you buy designer vintage items?  If you have sold some of your vintage treasures before you know that you get pennies on the dollar. We have sold items only to find them on a website for 10 times what we were paid. To ensure we get the best designer vintage items available, we have started "Vintage Designer Consignment." How this works is you email us pictures of designer vintage item/s you want to sell. Please include a detailed description of the condition of each item, size and flaws/imperfections. We will email you back any items we would be willing to consign for you and at what price. We do an even 50/50 split. You ship us the item at your cost. When the item sells, we will send you a check within 10 business days for your portion. Items that do not sell after 6mths will be sent back to you COD for the shipping. If you prefer we do buy some items outright- just let us know.
